What are you doing to setup your cycle?
I am gradually delving into my AR project by referring back to the archives of AR Wimba and using the websites as recommended. The calendar and expectations being laid out before me are assisting me in creating a successful AR project as well as making me an effective teacher.
How are the learners responding?
Actually today was an uplifting day in the computer lab. My class had to take their second state assessment and the little brain wheels turning were amazing. I circulated the room, gazed in awe, as final scores showed up on the screens. Their number of attempts and number of correct were close to equal on several screens. It was as if the familiarity of the computer and the constant incorporation to lessons, gave the students the confidence to recognize correct procedures for correct answers. Tomorrow I will receive the results and the gains will be amazing!
How this month course is helping shape your AR?
This month is creating my confidence as an actress or teacher. Being in front of the camera is a skill that is being forced to grow on me. With the upcoming assignments and past assignments, I am allowed to let my creativity shine. I have enjoyed watching the videos from classmates and their perspective on subjects. Creating the survey is extremely helpful for gathering information on my parents and students. I am currently the Wellness Representative and have to create a survey for the biggest program at school. Using survey monkey is a passion of mine and I look forward to incorporating it to shape my learning.
